Project Goal

To support the development and expansion of strategies that increase school safety and promote a positive and supportive school climate.

Project Objectives

  1. Improve school capacity to prevent incidents of violence and intervene early to address them.
  2. Enhance/expand partnerships between schools and community-based organizations to address school violence.
  3. Expand opportunities for family engagement with school staff to mutually address risk factors for violence.
  4. Improve communication between home and school to enhance protective factors for student success.
